Online store still going

I haven't been posting much, but don't think that I'm not working on my online business. I'm definitely not working as hard as I should be as I haven't actually gone up to people to tell them how they could earn extra money and earn residual income. I am still here, it's just I haven't been working very hard yet, but when I do I will have to tell you about my successes. It will be soon.

My first step in increasing page views

I went to google, and started searching through some of their web tools. Now, I've added my URL to their index using their webmaster tools, then I set it up to give me back reports of what keywords have returned my blog back in the search results. I will get diagnostics and statistics of my website that drives people in that direction. I'm hoping I can figure out a way to increase page views through this, does anyone have any experience with these Google Web Tools?

Well, why would I care about page views you may ask? For one, I have a few links to my online store here. I also can possibly generate revenue if someone clicks on an ad or referall ad. I'm not trying to get rich or anything, but you've got to start somewhere. You can't just sit around and expect to win the lottery. For the other billions of people who still haven't won the lottery, we need to work to make money. What better way to get recognized than online? It's definitely worth looking into... so any advice on increasing page views and getting people interested in page content is greatly appreciated.

Yeah! My first click

No, not a clique or group of people, but a mouse click. After 177 page impressions, mostly mine, someone has clicked on one of my ads and even one of the referral ads. I hope it wasn't me... they might take back that penny if it was me. Now, I just need to keep finding ways to make my site more interesting.

As with my online business... so far, I've made $8... but that's just a few weeks time. Lets give it some time. We'll see people.

Yes, I got them

I received my energy drinks and already received my new orders for coffee drinks and makeup for the wife. I made up my business cards... they look kinda cool. I have a few customers... kind of (mostly family). I just need to get out there and start contacting. We'll see if any of this pays off in the future.

The energy drinks were great, I personally liked the Citrus Blast kind, and I gave 'em out to all my friends. I want to try black cherry cola, sounds kinda good.

My online store is up and running here. And I'm excited about my products that I will be receiving shortly. I'm getting a bunch of energy drinks, and then I will have to tell you how my friends and I like them. They have quite a few flavors, from cherry cola blast, Rootbeer blast, tropical blast, and more.

My online store is up and running. Feel free to sign up at my register page. Signing up puts you under no obligation, it just allows you to login and see all the products available through my supplier site and even through my partner stores, such as Circuit City, Shop.com, Barnes and Noble and a lot more.

Still no Revenue

Okay, so I've tried AdSense, but haven't made a penny yet, even if I were getting paid $100 a click, I would still have nothing. I am currently looking at more ways to bring revenue through online means (that aren't scams), so if you have any ideas feel free to leave a comment. Also, if you know any pointers on getting traffic to your site... it would be greatly appreciated. This is not just because I want to make money, but because I enjoy learning about all of these possibilities.

Some ways to make money online

The first way that I've mentioned was to run ads like googles adsense. I've also mentioned some online stores... like the one I've signed up for. You can see some of my products for health, beauty, and nutrition. This is not a get rich scheme as the average Business Owner makes a little over $100/mo, but there is an opportunity with a lot of hard work to make a thousand and more per month. If you're interested let me know at joels.onlinestore@gmail.com. Also, this is something I haven't tried yet, but you can become an affiliate of an online store. Just put links of stores that offer affiliate programs (you have to sign up as an affiliate through their website - the links are usually at the bottom of the home page) and when someone who has clicked on one of your links makes a purchase, you get a percentage of that purchase... such as shop.com. Now, this last one I intend on trying... payperpost or webloginc and smorty.com all offer ways to get paid while blogging. This is something I've just looked into, but start your blogging and you'll be on your way. I have looked into the payperpost and there doesn't seem to be any minimum on the existence of your blog before applying, but on smorty.com your blog had to exist for at least three months before you'd be considerd... so with that in mind, you may want to look over each sites blogging requirements before just jumping right in. If any of you have tried some of these methods or have any to add feel free to comment.

Did you know about AdSense?

Okay, so I initially started this web blog with the intent for a linking site to all my online store infomation through "the company", but as I have stated this is something frowned upon. But, I would still like to make a little bit of money with this whole internet thing. Then I found that you can actually get paid for showing ads and people clicking on said ads. Just look up Adsense and then you ad the code to a free blog, like this one, and then you can be making a little, and I do mean a little bit of money. There are ways to block the lower paying ad companies, but right now I am not worried about that.

Okay folks, I am starting up an online store. I am just creating a website now to post reviews of the products and hopefully after I get up and running you guys could review the products and post comments about them too.

I will also provide links to other services and other reviews of the products that I will be selling.
